Prepare for the holidays in a face-to-face course by artist Robert Mahar, where you will sew modern wool felt stockings in class. You will make stockings with a mistletoe or holly design with felt appliques. You will use beautiful wool blended felt, hand-stitched sequined berries and transparent glass seed beads to add a little sparkle.

This course is most suitable for students who are over 18 years old and have experience in basic machines and hand sewing. Choose to bring your own sewing machine or use one at the Sonoma Community Center.

The museum will once again host the annual Make-In event, with interesting art and craft stations inside and outside the museum.

This is definitely a fun day of arts and crafts, all of which are designed to inspire creativity for your holiday. This year's theme is "Refuge, Shelter and Welcome". The museum staff hope that this creative day can convey a sense of security, asylum, and belonging to all members of the community.

Sonoma Community Center is working with Vintage House to unite their efforts again to provide food for anyone and everyone this Thanksgiving. Due to the pandemic, walking, cycling or drive-through activities will be held again this year. It was held in the backyard of the community center, and they asked people not to show up at 2pm because it would cause traffic jams. But they never run out of dinner.

Dinner will use fresh local ingredients and all traditional Thanksgiving decorations. Community center volunteers, Rotary Club members Gary Edwards and Daniel Kijada will oversee preparations for the dinner. Many people in the community again donated supplies and raw materials, including Paul's Produce, Sonoma Market, Joanne Romanini Distributing, Sonoma Sunrise Rotary Club, Sonoma Valley Rotary Club, and Bright Event Rentals. Vintage House will once again offer desserts such as pumpkin and apple pie.

The dinner is free to the community, but donations are generously accepted to offset the cost of the event.
